Configure user roles

Clicking the menu item “Users/Roles & Permissions”, you will find the three preset roles “Administrator”, “Staff” and “Teacher” which you can adjust to your preferences. You also can add any number of new roles and configure individual rights.

You are able to determine, which modules will be enabled for the single user groups. Distinguish between Edit&Read, only Read or no visibility. For examle you can preset, that the role “staff” is able to edit and read abscences, but not to see student grades.

Whole modules can be deactivated completely by giving no right to any role. The module won’t appear in the app then. This is useful in case your school is not allowed to manage students grades digitally. Then you can disable the whole module “Grades” for all users.
